German Cockroach
GERMAN COCKROACH (blattella germanica).
This cockroach is a prolific breeder of all the cockroaches its life cycle from hatching to being able to reproduce is 40 days the egg case usually contains 30-40 eggs and this will happen about 3 to 4 times in a life cycle. This cockroach moults 6-7 times to grow bigger and life span is 4-6 months.
It harbours in places like the kitchen areas and if left untreated will move to other areas of the home.

Australian Cockroach
AUSTRALIAN COCKROACH (Periplaneta australasiae).
The Australian cockroach is a larger cockroach between 23mm to 35mm the body is dark brown and yellow markings of there forewings.
It has a life span of 6-12 months, it moults 10-12 times. The number of eggs per eggs capsule is between 16-24 and each female will have 12-20 in her lifetime.
Its habitat is garden beds and under leaf matter, subfloors and roof voids.
Treatment: Is by residual insecticides and insecticide dust to the roof void and cracks and crevices applications around the property.
American Cockroach
AMERICAN COCKROACH (Periplaneta americana).
The American Cockroach is one of the largest cockroaches that infest homes and business its body is between 38mm to 50mm in length the adult is red-brown in colour.
It has a life span of 6-12 months in which it moults 7-10 times to grow bigger. The number of eggs per egg capsule is between 12-16 and each female will have 10-50 in her lifetime. The habitat it prefers is warm dark areas like subfloors, roof voids, grease traps.
Treatment: Is similar to the Australian cockroach by the use of a residual insecticide and insecticide dust to the areas that it harbourages in.
